About
MaternaLink

MaternaLink was founded after firsthand exposure to maternal health challenges in African low-resource settings, through research with a public health group focused on improving maternal care access. It became clear that improving access alone doesn't solve every problem—there's a significant gap between what research shows and what communities actually know.

Pregnant women, community health workers, and students who need evidence-based information most often have no way to access it in a form they can use. MaternaLink was created to help close that gap.

We're a student-led nonprofit focused on education and advocacy across the full picture of maternal health—prenatal care, birth outcomes, access to skilled care, and the systemic inequities that put lives at risk in low-resource settings around the world.

We're early-stage and growing. If you're a student, educator, or organization who cares about this issue, we'd love to connect.
